Last month, the South Carolina Association for Justice invited Yarborough Applegate attorney Liam Duffy to present at its Advanced Trial Lawyers College in Atlanta.
Several hundred fellow trial lawyers and other legal professionals attended the seminar, including his talk on “Tech-Savvy Tips for Enhancing Case Value & Improving Evidence Presentations.”
In his presentation, Duffy shared insights on utilizing simple and free technology tools to develop powerful demonstrative evidence, harnessing the power of PowerPoint, TriaPad, and TranscriptPad softwares (among others), and taking more tactical and strategic depositions on Zoom by incorporating tech tools and visual aids.
At Yarborough Applegate, we have seen time and time again the difference technology can make in a personal injury case, from thoroughly preparing for trial to effectively communicating with judges, juries, mediators, and other legal professionals. That’s why our team is perpetually exploring cutting-edge trial and case management technologies and finding ways to integrate them into our cases. Because though law may be one of the oldest institutions in our history, in practice it is an ever-evolving field. Ensuring justice for victims means we must operate at the forefront of change, in each and every case.
