Yarborough Applegate founders, David Yarborough and William Applegate, are proud to announce that David Lail has been named a Partner in the firm.
“David is a lawyer who is passionate about his work and committed to his clients,” Yarborough says. “I’ve watched him develop his talent as a litigator and having him as a partner in the firm was the logical next step.”
Since joining Yarborough Applegate, Lail has helped achieve over $106 million in verdicts and settlements on behalf of injured individuals and families, and he exclusively represents those harmed by the actions of others.
“The firm is lucky to have an attorney like David,” Applegate says. “We look forward to his continued contributions to our clients and the firm in his new role.”
Lail is a member of The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 and the South Carolina Super Lawyers Rising Star list. He is a Board Member and Chair of the Torts & Negligence Section of the South Carolina Association for Justice and a member of the American Association for Justice. Lail co-authored the book South Carolina Dram Shop Litigation: A Practice Guide and devotes much of his practice representing victims of drunk driving.
He lives in Charleston with his wife, Lauren, and their two children, Evie and Hugh.
