Earlier this month, our attorneys attended the South Carolina Association for Justice’s Annual Convention in Hilton Head. The South Carolina Association for Justice (SCAJ) was founded over 50 years ago by a small group of trial lawyers with the mission of advocating for those harmed by the actions of others. As part of Yarborough Applegate’s continued support for SCAJ, the firm was proud to serve as a Diamond Sponsor of the Convention.
At the Convention, William Applegate delivered a presentation entitled, “Strategies for Presenting Noneconomic Damages.” In addition, we are thrilled to announce that David Lail was re-elected as the Chair of the Torts & Negligence Section of SCAJ. Lail also serves on the Board of Governors as a Representative of the 9th Circuit and was recently selected to serve on the SCAJ’s Executive Committee.
It is always great to see our colleagues at the Convention and we look forward to gathering again next year.
