Lail Selected to Top 40 Under 40 List Second Year In a Row

Posted: November 1, 2016

Every year, The National Trial Lawyers releases their Top 40 Under 40 list. The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 is a professional organization comprised of America’s top young trial attorneys.  Membership into the Top 40 Under 40 is by invitation only and is extended exclusively to those plaintiffs’ lawyers who meet stringent qualifications.

Yarborough Applegate lawyer David Lail has made the prestigious list for the second year in a row. You can view Lail’s National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 profile here.

Lail’s law practice is focused on representing those harmed by the actions of others. In addition to his personal injury practice, Lail represents victims of bad faith insurance practices, landowners in condemnation actions, and plaintiffs in business litigation. Since he began practicing law in 2011, Lail has already helped achieve over $60 million in verdicts and settlements on behalf of Yarborough Applegate clients. In addition to his membership in The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40, Lail has also been selected to the South Carolina Super Lawyers Rising Star list for 2016 which can be viewed here. Lail is Chair of the Young Lawyers Section of the South Carolina Association for Justice, a member of the American Association for Justice, and he is also licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia.

Lail received his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Kentucky in 2001, M.B.A. from The Citadel in 2007, and J.D., cum laude, from the Charleston School of Law in 2010 where he was an Associate Articles Editor of the Charleston Law Review, a member of the Charleston School of Law Moot Court Board, and a Teaching Fellow in the Legal Research, Analysis, and Writing Department.
