As Neighbors Together celebrates its 40th birthday this week, Yarborough Applegate continues its support of the social service organization by serving as the presenting sponsor of a community Birthday Bash. Neighbors Together provides critical services and resources that improve individual outcomes in the core areas of hunger, health and wellness, homelessness, and economic mobility throughout the greater Charleston, South Carolina, area.
This Thursday, September 14, we’ll join fellow supporters and community members at Firefly Distillery in North Charleston. The Birthday Bash lasts 6 to 9 p.m., and the celebration will be filled with bites from four area food trucks, custom drinks by Firefly Distillery, live music, yard games, and raffle prizes.

Having the partnership of a firm like Yarborough Applegate is so exciting, and it just makes everything else so much easier. We love getting to have everyone come out and see the work that we’ve been doing throughout the year, and we can’t wait to be able to share how much we’ve grown with the help of our key supporters!”
Neighbors Together—formerly known as Tricounty Family Ministries—has carried out its mission of improving quality of life across the Charleston area since 1983. Its ongoing programs include providing hot meals and groceries, connecting homeless individuals with housing resources, teaching employment skills, and offering rent and utility assistance.

Yarborough Applegate is proud to support the Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center, a nonprofit with a mission of preventing abuse, protecting children, and healing families.
Yarborough Applegate’s David Yarborough was the keynote speaker of the event, which raised $65,000 for the Charleston-area organization.
