The Case: We represented the family of a man who was killed after colliding with a tractor-trailer on the highway, as well as his wife, who sustained serious injuries. The driver of the tractor-trailer, while attempting to back into a driveway, had pulled into the median of the highway, blocking two lanes of traffic. The driver was not able to stop in time. We reached a settlement of $1.5 million.
