$1.08 Million

Settlement for T-Bone Accident Case

The Case: Our client was traveling on Highway 521 in Williamsburg County when the defendant, traveling on Highway 52, ran a red light and T-boned the driver side of her vehicle at the highways’ intersection. The plaintiff was taken to the hospital via EMS and admitted to the ICU, where she underwent extensive surgery. She spent three weeks in an inpatient rehab facility before continuing a long home rehabilitation process.

The Outcome: Pre-suit demands were made for the per-person bodily injury and property damage limits from the liability carrier and the available underinsured motorist (UIM) bodily injury coverage. Both the liability and UIM carriers tendered their policy limits, and our client was awarded a settlement of $1.08 million.
