Kathryn is an efficient and detail-oriented office manager with years of experience in bookkeeping and legal office operations. Her professional background in the legal services industry is varied and extensive. She worked for eleven years at a large regional law firm located in Charleston, where she worked her way up from receptionist to legal assistant to accounting specialist. During this time, she discovered her love and efficiency for bookkeeping and law firm operations. She eventually left that post when she was offered the position of Office Administrator at another Lowcountry law firm. During her time there, she honed her management skills and further developed her acumen in law firm administration. Here at Yarborough Applegate, we rely on Kathryn’s creativity, technical knowledge, and abilities to create efficient office processes to enable our firm to better serve our clients.
Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Kathryn has a Bachelor of Music in violin performance from the University of South Carolina and earned her Master of Public Administration from the College of Charleston in 2008. When not working, Kathryn enjoys reading, playing the violin, and spending time with her husband, Tyler, and their four young children: Tucker, Elizabeth, Evan, and Katie.
