Diane brings over 20 years of paralegal experience to our practice, combining both plaintiff and defense work in firms as small as 6 people and as large as 1000. She has worked as lead paralegal for a firm representing one of the world’s largest automakers in product liability cases, and this insight and knowledge into the auto industry is of invaluable assistance to our clients in product and automotive cases. She has also worked as a paralegal for a firm representing physicians and hospitals, and brings this firm grasp of medical conditions, problems and procedures to benefit our clients.
Her legal background also encompasses such diverse areas of law as billion-dollar mergers and acquisitions, government lobbying and reporting, asbestos litigation, medical malpractice, trucking and transportation, premises liability, and insurance defense. She brings her wide experience and deep insight into all her work for the clients of our firm, ensuring the best possible outcomes of their cases.
Beyond her skills and experience, Diane’s particular strengths include her ability to relate to and communicate with our clients on every level, her dedication to their cases, and her high energy and positive outlook that help her go above and beyond to achieve the highest results. She has supervised and mentored other paralegals and provided paralegal training and oversight in her previous positions. Diane grew up in Savannah, Georgia, graduated early from high school in a program for gifted students, did her undergraduate work in English at Armstrong Atlantic University, and furthered her studies in Historic Preservation at the College of Charleston. Prior to becoming a paralegal, she worked in the historic preservation and tourism fields, and held tour guide licenses in Savannah and Charleston. She and her husband Jim live in West Ashley and she enjoys running, playing tennis and piano, and traveling the world.
