At Yarborough Applegate, participating in the community is an important part of our work. One group we are proud to support as a corporate benefactor is Charleston Legal Access. Charleston Legal Access is a nonprofit firm that serves moderate and low-income individuals in need of legal representation by offering those services at a reduced, sliding-scale fee. Charleston Legal Access handles cases that would not be handled by law firms on a contingency fee basis. There are a number of people who have an income that is too high to quality for free legal services, but still cannot afford attorney fees. That’s where Charleston Legal Access is able to help.
