Douglas Jennings Promoted to Partner

Posted: February 2, 2018

Yarborough Applegate is thrilled to announce the promotion of its longtime Associate Attorney Douglas Jennings to Partner, alongside the firm’s founders William Applegate and David Yarborough.

Jennings joined the Yarborough Applegate team in 2010 – not long after the firm’s founding – and has had an incredible impact on both his clients, and the firm. Jennings is responsible for winning multiple multi-million dollar, high profile cases. William Applegate states, “Douglas has long been a fixture on our team, and we are thrilled to recognize his work and dedication to his clients through this promotion.”

David Yarborough agrees, stating – “Making Douglas partner was an obvious decision, and we look forward to seeing his growth continue.”

Jennings, a Bennettsville, SC native attended Clemson University before enrolling into the Charleston School of Law. Though he resides in Charleston, Jennings maintains strong ties to the Pee Dee community, serving as co-counsel with his father. Jennings is active in both the Charleston community and the law community, volunteering time as a Board Member of Camp Happy Days, and with the American Association of Justice (AAJ), the South Carolina Association of Justice (SCAJ), AAJ’s Trucking Litigation Group, the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America (APITLA), the Charleston County Bar Association, and the James L.
