It’s a topic Jennings knows well from years working cases and presenting to peers on the practice area.
The significance of driver cell phone evidence in trucking cases is well-known to trucking lawyers, but its importance cannot be overstated, Jennings acknowledges. After all, revisiting the fundamentals—here, keen knowledge of applicable federal regulations, understanding of industry standards and operational realities, recognition of layered insurance dynamics, and the strategic ability to weave separate facts into a compelling narrative—can make all the difference in a trucking or commercial motor vehicle case. And working those fundamentals into a sound strategy quickly is especially critical in cases involving time-sensitive cell phone data.
The amount of information cell phones contain is endless but is constantly being overwritten. Acting fast to preserve and collect cell phone evidence can make or break a big truck accident case.
