The Post and Courier reported yesterday, that officials with the Department of Health and Environmental Control are investigating a James Island Senior Living Facility after one of its residents was found dead.
Marie Duddy, who suffered from dementia is believed to have left the facility and wandered away towards the marsh.
This is not the first investigation DHEC has made at the assisted living facility.
