Posted: December 9, 2016

Yarborough Applegate is very proud to say that the book attorneys David Yarborough and David Lail have spent the better half of 2016 writing has been published. The book, entitled “Dram Shop Litigation: A Practice Guide,” focuses on an area of tort law that allows for victims of drunk driving accidents to hold bars and restaurants accountable in the event of a patron being over served.

Dram Shop Litigation is a practice area the attorneys of Yarborough Applegate are very passionate about. It is their hope that this book will increase awareness of this very dangerous issue and encourage alcohol retailers in the state of South Carolina to serve responsibly. Additionally, the team has partnered with MADD and will be donating all proceeds from book sales to the organization.

On the day of the book release, Attorneys David Yarborough and David Lail presented on dram shop litigation at a CLE conference in Columbia, SC where they had the pleasure of meeting up with Steven Burritt, the MADD SC Program Director.
