Our attorney David Lail and his family traveled to Greenville on September 17th to participate in Walk Like MADD, an annual event to remember and support victims of drunk driving. The Walk exceeded its fundraising goal of $18,000, topping out at nearly $25,000 with funds raised from 234 participants and 19 teams. In part of our ongoing partnership with MADD, Yarborough Applegate served as an event sponsor, and also attended Walk Like MADD Columbia last spring.
Among the day’s highlights was an honor from MADD National’s CEO Debbie Weir, who visited from Dallas and presented David with a plaque for the firm’s participation and sponsorship.
“The Greenville Walk was certainly a fundraising success for MADD and it honored victims and injured survivors with the high level of respect they all deserve. Events like the Greenville Walk demonstrate how meaningful it is to work with victims of drunk driving and I’m proud to do it as a supporter of MADD and as a lawyer” said Lail.
