Cure SMA is a non-profit organization raising funds for research for spinal muscular atrophy treatment and cures. Yarborough Applegate is proud to sponsor the Go Miller 5K, an annual event held to raise money for the organization. All of the proceeds raised will go to the organization’s research fund.
This year’s 5K will be held at the James Island County Park on Saturday, September 10, 2016. The event is open to all ages and includes a fun-filled day of running, walking and rolling wheelchairs through the park. This year, they hope to raise $40,000.
Yarborough Applegate would like to encourage members of the community to come out to this fun event. Event organizers recommend registering by Sunday, August 22, 2016 to guarantee yourself a t-shirt.
