Charleston, S.C. — With a recent donation, plaintiff’s law firm Yarborough Applegate is proud to continue its support of South Carolina Research Authority’s (SCRA) Industry Partnership Fund. A vital resource for South Carolina innovators, SCRA supports projects and companies across the state via impactful grants and investments. The efforts are funded in part by Industry Partnership Fund contributions such as this one.

According to the SCRA, the Industry Partnership Fund has been a tremendous boon to South Carolina’s “innovation economy”—the environment that encourages production of cutting-edge ideas and information. Since its creation, the fund has made a $1.15 billion impact on the state’s economy, creating some 5,600 jobs in areas of academia, entrepreneurship, and industry.
