Yarborough Applegate is proud to announce that Partner David Lail was nominated to the South Carolina Association for Justice‘s (SCAJ) Honors and Awards Committee last month.
The SCAJ is a membership-based organization of more than 1,300 attorneys devoted to protecting the legal rights of the citizens of South Carolina. Lail has been a leader within the SCAJ since 2017, when he was elected to its Board of Governors as a representative of the Ninth Judicial Circuit. In 2020 he was again elected to the Board of Governors, and was also chosen to serve on its Executive Committee.
The SCAJ’s Honors and Awards Committee recognizes the state’s top legal minds and their contributions to justice during an annual award ceremony.
“I’m always honored to do my part in advancing the SCAJ’s mission: to serve its members and those who have been harmed by the actions of others. And I’m particularly looking forward to joining this committee that celebrates the legal contributions of my deserving colleagues across the state,” Lail says.
A personal injury lawyer in Charleston, South Carolina, Lail devotes much of his practice representing drunk driving victims in dram shop litigation and has written and presented extensively on this niche practice area. To read more about his practice, click here.
